City and County Website Feedback
The City and County of Los Angeles have been ordered to create websites where the public can review the expenses and performance of their homelessness assistance programs. Both websites are initial versions and will improve as feedback from the public is provided. Please take a moment to review either or both sites and let us know how easy it is to determine what the City and County are doing to address homelessness.
Is the site easy to use? Is the information provided clear in how it affects the regional homelessness crisis? Does it effectively communicate what is being spent and how it is being used? Do you get a sense that what the City or County is doing is working through clear performance metrics?
The Alliance will share your feedback with the City, County, and the court. Please indicate on which website you are commenting. Thank you!

It is inconceivable that any member of the public would find the websites useful. They are basically a data dump, similar to what happens if you make a discovery request in litigation.
If LA City or County represented that they would put the data together in a way of any use to the public, the court should be immediately informed that they are not complying with their representations.
It would perhaps be more useful if the Alliance included in their response to the court a template of how the information should be provided, so that Carter could issue an order specifying what the website has to look like.
I’m the guy at Hollywood 4WRD involved in drafting their FAQs. If you guy down the path of crafting a template for what would be helpful, I’d be happy to volunteer some time to see if I could be of any assistance. -
