The Highland Park Neighborhood Council Public Safety Committee will dedicate a part of its January 17th meeting to updates and discussion of the homeless encampments on Ave 59 and Ave 45 along the 110 freeway. Businesses and residents are encouraged to attend and present their concerns about the impacts of increased crime and homeless encampments on the quality of life and safety in the neighborhood.
The LA Alliance for Human Rights will also present the status of its lawsuit against the City and County of Los Angeles and what citizens can do to hold the City and County accountable for addressing the homeless crisis. Get involved by visiting our Take Action! page.
